About The Role The IT Operations Intern will assist the IT team in managing day-to-day IT operations, supporting system administration, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, documentation and ensuring seamless business continuity., This role will provide hands-on experience with enterprise IT infrastructure and processes, allowing the intern to gain insight into how technology supports a fast-paced environment and business operations.**This is a 10 week internship from 6/2/2025 – 8/8/2025.**What You Get To Do Every DayParticipate in ongoing IT projects, contributing to troubleshooting, testing, and implementation tasks.Work closely with IT technicians, administrators, system engineers, and network engineers to gain insights into their workflows, ensure compliance, and identify opportunities for optimizationCollaborate with IT engineers on small projects, such as system migrations or upgrades.Support the team with software installations, updates, and configuration tasks.Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the timely resolution of technical issues.Help with asset management, tracking IT equipment, and maintaining accurate inventory.Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing initiatives and provide input.What You Bring To The RoleMinimum Requirements:Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Ability to troubleshoot technical issues methodically.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Basic understanding of computer networks, hardware, and software troubleshooting.Familiarity with operating systems (Windows & MacOS).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a dynamic IT environment.Preferred Requirements:Passion for technology and eagerness to learn new tools and techniques.Experience with IT ticketing systems such as Freshservice, ServiceNow, or Jira.Familiarity with remote desktop tools and network troubleshooting tools.Knowledge of enterprise IT systems, such as Okta or Google workspace.Hands-on experience with IT helpdesk or support roles.Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automating tasks.Compensation, Benefits, + PerksThis role is not eligible for benefits.The expected hourly rate for this role is 25.00-30.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package.
