Essential Job Functional:
- Emergency Plan Enhancement: Review and update existing emergency plans, procedures, and protocols to identify areas for improvement.
- Drill Participation: Actively engage in emergency drills and exercises, taking on crucial roles during simulated scenarios.
- Resource Management: Maintain accurate inventories of critical supplies and equipment, ensuring our hospital is well-prepared for any situation.
- Community Outreach: Represent Willamette Valley Medical Center at community preparedness events, educating the public about emergency readiness and fostering strong relationships with local stakeholders.
- Documentation and Reporting: Assist in documenting incidents, response actions, and lessons learned, preparing comprehensive reports for internal use and regulatory compliance.
- Training Facilitation: Co-facilitate training sessions for hospital staff, sharing your knowledge of emergency protocols and best practices.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proactive mindset and ability to work well under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Passion for healthcare emergency management and community preparedness
