The TES team at athenahealth drives success across our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) functions. Your job will be to pitch in on projects that leverage technology and project management to empower our teams to work more effectively and efficiently so that athenahealth can deliver outcomes for our customers.We are looking for a business-focused individual seeking an opportunity to understand how a leading healthcare company operates and successfully leverages technology. An ideal candidate is a driven self-starter with project management and organizational skills. This candidate will be excited about supporting day-to-day operations of the Business Process Transformation team and working on high-priority projects designed to improve athenahealth and customer financial performance. This role will offer the opportunity to network with stakeholders across athenahealth and will be a great learning opportunity for someone interested in growing their healthcare business, technology, and consulting expertise.Job ResponsibilitiesLearn about the Revenue Cycle function within a healthcare technology and management company by gaining experience in revenue processes and toolsParticipate in several high-impact, cross-functional projectsSupport day-to-day operations of the Business Process Management Team including project tracking, meeting management, regular communications/updates, and project follow-throughEstablish effective relationships with key stakeholders, peers, and athenistas across various levels and departmentsBuild key analytical and communications materials, including excel analysis, slide decks, email communications, etc.QualificationsStrong interest in healthcare, revenue cycle, and healthcare technologyEffective verbal and written communication skillsExtensive proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and ability to manipulate data and concisely present findingsHigh level of attention to detail and a strong work ethicEffective relationship management skills, including upward management, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership support; ability to work independently as neededPursuing a four-year degree and will still have at least one semester left in school after August 2025.
