IT Operations Intern

Job Description:OverviewThe IT Operations Intern supports our users in-person and remotely to reset passwords, move computers and printers, help remote users with VPN and email support, etc.Internship Start Date: May 12, 2025You will be trained on the Operations floor, working alongside team members in our manufacturing, distribution and customer service teams in order to see first-hand the scope of our organization.After your training, you will join the IT department and be assigned a Supervisor and Mentor. Your Supervisor will direct your day to day activities while your Mentor will be your key contact for non-daily activities and overall guidance. You will be exposed to multiple projects and be issued daily tasks to complete towards those projects.Internship End Date: August 1, 2025We will conduct an Exit Interview and get final feedback from Interns on the program.The IT Operations Intern is a full time (5 days a week) onsite role in Columbus, Ohio. Remote work is not available.ResponsibilitiesAssist with regulatory reviews (PCI 4.0 and GDPR)Assist with the writing and review of IT Policies and ProceduresPerforms routine preventive maintenance on hardware systemsProvides direction to users to resolve technological issuesDetermine computer problems and coordinates hardware, software, and/or network solutionsCommunicates technical guidance and instruction to users on the use of PC and/or cloud applications and systemsAnalyzes and resolves basic computer and security problemsQualificationsStudents enrolled in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field preferred1+ years of End User support experience preferredManufacturing and Warehouse experience a plusMinimum of 3.0 grade point average is requiredGoals of InternshipKnow what skills you will need post-graduation (software programs/communication methods)Develop the skills needed for the internship and post-graduationHone the skills you already have to succeedBe a part of Department meetingsLearn about other business functions and how departments collaborateComplete a 10-week project and present to the Leadership team and other internsAdditional InformationPay Schedule: Semi-monthly on 15th and last day of the monthRelocation/Living Expense: Not providedLocation: 545 East Fifth Avenue Columbus, OH 43201By applying to Rogue, regardless of the platform you choose to use, you are agreeing to Rogue’s preferred methods of communication (i.e. text message).
