Job DescriptionJob Title: Finance & Business Intelligence InternThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.Job Location: 17725 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77094Job Overview:We are preparing for our 2025 summer internship season!This entry level opportunity will serve on our Finance team and report to the Business Advisor. They will contribute to our culture of accurate and efficient data analysis and financial reporting. This will include assisting in the creation of supporting KPIs, dashboard creation, automation through reporting, financial statements, auditing data integrity, ad hoc analysis, and partnership with business partners in other CBAC functions.We are looking for a hardworking, positive person with energy, enthusiasm and integrity, who can work in a fast-paced environment. To successfully fulfill the role, the Finance & Business Intelligence Intern will need to:

• Be a self-starter, teachable
• Contribute to the positive culture of CBA
• Communicate often, clearly, politely, and with intentionality
• Work well in a team
• Be diligent in maintaining assigned responsibilities
• Be comfortable researching a solution (if there is no documentation)

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Business Intelligence to perform data analysis for Home Office and Franchisees
• Audit financial data to ensure a high level of accuracy and quality
• Assist in the reporting and presentation process of monthly and quarterly reports
• Work closely with the Home Office departments to contribute to a culture of trust, partnership, and open communication
• Support other members of the Finance Team with forecasting models and other various assignments
• Work closely with the Operations Team to support with trend analysis
• Organize and catalog standard operating procedures for key financial tasks and responsibilities
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet project deadlines
• Perform other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned

QualificationsEducation:Recent graduate or enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree program in Data Science, Finance, Economics, or a related fieldExperience:Prior internship, professional experience, or applicable project experience preferred but not requiredSoftware Skills:

• Solid understanding and use of Microsoft Excel and Office suite applications
• Ability to interpret and interact with business intelligence dashboards such as DOMO, Power BI, or Tableau
• Proficient in creating accurate and engaging presentations/slideshows of data, and the ability to present them to others in meetings

Soft Skills:

• Friendly and energetic demeanor, loves helping people and a relationship builder
• Strong phone communication and listening skills
• Upbeat, takes initiative, dependable, takes pride in work, and works well within a team
• Detail oriented, and able to organize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent consultative, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to be a creative thinker and problem solver

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally bending, twisting, and turning.
• Sitting for extended periods of time.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
