We will be accepting applications through March 20th.StatusNon-ExemptSummaryThe Customer Experience (CX) Journey Intern at Kia America, Inc. will work with the Kia.com, Customer Journey, and Data Governance teams to learn about the core functions, active projects, agency/partners, and technology platforms of each team. The Intern will receive a number of assignments to complete over the course of the internship.This internship is a 10-week, full-time opportunity at Kia America’s Irvine headquarters from June 2, 2025 through August 8, 2025. The position is hybrid with one remote day per week.Major Responsibilities
- Data Governance / Customer Data Platform
- Analyze and provide recommendations on how to activate or leverage data points in Salesforce. Assist in ideation of new or expanded use cases and creation of a proposal/pitch for other business unit(s)’ consideration.
- Customer Journey
- Gain an understanding of the Customer Journey “walk” with owners, handraisers and conquest customers.
- Participate in the creative development of communications that impact loyalty and acquisition efforts.
- Help identify audience insights and market opportunities from campaign(s) performance.
- Research and summarize email marketing best practices and industry trends.
- Kia.com – Electric Vehicle Education Strategy
- Intern will be provided with research & insights specific to EV buyers unique questions, concerns, and considerations. They will be briefed on the digital experiences and tools Kia.com offers for EV buyers in their purchase journey. With this information they will be tasked with assisting in an user experience assessment, of kia.com and competitors, on the related tools and features to identify best practices, pain points, and make recommendations for optimizations.

Education/Certification
- Enrollment in or graduation from a bachelor’s degree program required.
- Preferred majors, minors, or fields of study: Business Administration, Communications, Digital Communications and Media, Advertising, Computer Systems Analysis, Graphic Design, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Consumer Psychology, Public Relations, Web Design, Webmaster and Web Management, and related fields.
Overall Experience
- Must be available for the full duration of the internship from June 2, 2025 – August 8, 2025.
Directly Related Experience
- Prior internship experience a plus.
- An interest in digital platforms, technology, and innovation, from a consumer experience and operational perspective.
