This paid internship includes 20-30 hours per week this winter/spring semester. We are flexible with the time/day and number of hours depending on the intern’s schedule. This internship will conclude at the end of the spring semester with the possibility of continuing through Summer 2025, and potentially full-time employment.Working within a team, the intern will be responsible for researching and assisting executive recruitment staff on multiple recruitments for public sector clients. This is an ideal position for a student who is interested in recruiting, human resources, or business, enjoys research, analyzing data, and is intellectually curious.This position will be based in Raftelis’ Charlotte office. A parking pass is provided at no cost to the intern. This is not a remote position. The rate of pay is $20-25 per hour depending on experience.Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough internet and social media research on local government and utility clients and applicants
- Collect and analyze lead generation data to grow outreach database and develop search targets
- Analyze data to determine the best utilization of job postings and direct outreach techniques
- Assist with a new database, including data validation, cleaning, and input
- Draft information to be used in recruitment materials, such as a job description with brochure
- Attend web-based client meetings and produce meeting summaries
- Maintain effective, professional attributes while dealing with clients and colleagues
Requirements:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (business, public administration, human resources, psychology, or other related fields)
- Ability to research and organize data obtained from websites, phone calls, and web-based meetings
- Excellent writing skills
- Intellectual curiosity and the willingness to learn
- Diligent, enthusiastic, and team-player attitude
- Ability to work independently on specific assignments once direction is provided
- Experience using MS Office applications of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- A keen eye for details specific to client documents
