BCH’s family-centered care emphasizes a holistic approach, providing extensive support services for families so they have comprehensive care and support through their medical journey.The opportunityThe College COACH summer internship is a paid program running from Monday, June 9-Friday, August 8, 2025. In addition to on-the-job training and work experience, the program includes workshops and additional development programs. College students will work 35 hours/week.TIDO is part of Research Administration and is responsible for managing the intellectual property and commercialization of BCH research.What you’ll doAs part of our commercialization activities, TIDO has been working to build a CRM (customer relationship management) tool over the past few years. The responsibilities will be:Review data from the CRM that has been validated and research companies to determine their areas of interest so they can be tagged appropriately in the database for use by our business development group.This position is hybridWhat you’ll getThe intern will be exposed to databases, databaseManagement and the understanding of the life science/biotech industry (technical skills).They will learn to work with our data group through monthly meetings (interpersonal skills) and understand how having accurate data will lead to more productive outcomes for our team.They will be able to see how business operations impact the ability to carry out business development successfully.Who you areYou are an undergraduate college student interested working in healthcareKey competencies would be someone who is comfortable with technology that may have experience with data management or entry through a previous job or internship (not required, just preferred).Someone interested in the business side of life science would be a good fit.An intern that feels comfortable asking questions if they need clarification and enjoys working as part of a team.This role would prepare you for a data manager or business development operations role.We are an office that has hosted several college COACH interns and is currently hosting one through the school year so we have a good process for working with student to maximize their experience.Recruitment processInternship opportunities: We aim to have all summer internship opportunities posted by February 28.
