Now more than ever, educators need reliable data and tools on students’ learning and future success.The EVAAS team is a specialized division at SAS that focuses exclusively on education solutions, and we partner with state education agencies and districts across the country to support their analytic, consulting, and reporting needs. Our mission is to provide educators with information to make sound instructional choices and use resources more strategically to ensure that every student has the best chance to succeed.The User Support Team is responsible for ensuring that teachers, administrators, and others who use EVAAS web reports receives accurate, helpful, and timely support. This support includes answering users’ questions about interpreting and using reports, providing guidance on system navigation and security, and researching data issues. In addition to these tasks will be other technical support duties such as creating and reviewing templates, reviewing technical support metrics, and other tasks specific to the technical support application.As an intern, you might:

  • Respond directly to users who have support tickets
  • Coordinate solutions in a hybrid environment through Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and JIRA
  • Draft or review response templates for the support system
  • Review and put together technical support metrics on daily and monthly basis
  • Create processes and maintaining documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Degree Type: Currently pursuing bachelors or post graduate degree.
  • Targeted majors: Communications, Education and Teaching, or any current degree student interested in learning more educational analytics.
  • You’re a college student enrolled in an accredited program, not graduating prior to December 2025.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities
  • Capable of learning independently
  • Ability to work productively both independently and as part of a team
  • Successful track record of producing deliverables on time
  • Proven customer service skills with evidence of dedication to care for customers, anticipating their needs and following through with commitments
  • Ability to interpret and follow standard operating procedures and internal processes

Hourly rates range from $15 – $31 for associate’s/bachelor’s level positions and $29 – $49/hour for master’s/Ph. D positions. Internship roles are not eligible for bonus.
