El Plan aborda los retos actuales derivados de la pandemia de COVID-19 y se alinea con el objetivo de Prosperidad Económica del plan estratégico MacTown 2032 de la comunidad.”Position summary:Performs cleaning of the Emergency Department which includes the Patient Rooms, Waiting Room, Nursing Stations, Staff Lounge, Hallways, etc. Transports patients to radiology, inpatient units, or to their discharge transportation. Transports specimens and lab cultures. Assists nurses as delegated in miscellaneous duties, such as obtaining equipment and/or supplies.Minimum Qualifications:

  • CPR Certified
  • Between ages 18-25
  • Ability to meet minimum hospital hiring standards.

Essential Job Functional:

  • Transport specimens and blood as applicable.
  • Respond to calls from rooms for extra supplies and equipment.
  • Keep hallways clear and passable.
  • Stocking supplies: Keeps supplies stocked in the Patient Rooms, Supply Carts, and blanket and fluid warmers.
  • Transport Responsibilities: Transport supplies, specimens, and patients as delegated.
  • Provide necessary articles for transport, including oxygen tanks, monitors, patient charts, documents and supplies.
  • Assist in transporting of patients as needed.
  • Assist in positioning of patients under the direct supervision of the RN.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of established standards for cleaning Patient Rooms between visits to include all equipment, bed, floor, walls, or anything used on the prior patient visit. Position the room for the next patient visit with fresh linen on stretcher.
  • Clear linen and trash bags as needed.
